I was late to the Harry Potter series, only having watched the movies few years back. I’ve never read the books and am certainly not a Potter maven, but I thought the entire realm was interesting.

Firefighters are always looking for better and safer ways to put out fires, and these days some of the things that they come up with are seriously impressive. PyroLance is a new firefighting tool that is all about putting out fires in enclosed or inaccessible spaces.

I’m a big fan of the Deadpool flicks and I also love Bob Ross. I will one day learn to paint and acquire the leet painting skillz Ross made look so easy. And I’ll wear an afro while I paint.

Shawn Woods has a YouTube channel dedicated to testing different kinds of mouse traps. It’s pretty entertaining stuff. His latest video might just be the weirdest one yet, or the coolest depending on your point of view.

At last, somebody built a robot that does something useful rather than just wait around to gain sentience and kill us. This guy is so cute he would never hurt anyone. I think. Ex-NASA engineer and inventor Mark Rober has built a robot that can skip the perfect rock.

I’m not a big fan of heights. I’m especially skittish around heights when I can see straight through to the ground below. One place I won’t be visiting any time soon is the newly remodeled Seattle Space Needle, which now has a rotating glass floor.

A few weeks ago at SDCC, NERF announced its Rival Overwatch Reaper Edition Blaster, based on the Reaper’s Wight Hellfire shotgun. Now another Overwatch NERF weapon has surfaced: the D.Va Light Gun. The details remain true to the game weapon, except of course when it comes to capacity and the projectiles it shoots.

Who here knew that TARDIS stood for for “Time And Relative Dimensions in Sleep?” Just wear this TARDIS hooded onesie before bed so that when you drift off, your circuits might kick in so that you wake up in a new time and place.

Just like every other major company and network these days, Disney is launching its own standalone video streaming service. And why not? The company has a large catalog of content. They own Marvel, The Muppets, Star Wars, and have decades worth of their own movies. 

While most visions of the future envision robots as looking like humans, they certainly don’t have to be. The funky looking robot you see her was designed to compete in the DARPA Robotics Challenge. Centauro isn’t your typically humanoid design.

Anyone who orders stuff from Amazon or other online sources knows that package theft is a big problem. Thieves all around the world walk up and steal packages off door steps all the time. Look, I don’t have even one good thing to say about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I thought it was terrible on nearly every level. The acting, the directing, and the political agenda that seems to permeate the film.

Look at this thing. It may be the cutest Superman and Batman figure ever made. We all know Batman is a grump, which is odd considering he is a billionaire by day and a ninja crimefighter by night.

They used to tell you to not play with your food when you were a kid. Forget that nonsense. Play with your food all you want – especially when it’s Jell-O. These new Jell-O Play Build & Eat kits make it perfectly acceptable.
