In the Mushroom Kingdom, a question mark block can be filled with all kinds of goodies. Will a gold coin pop out? Maybe a super mushroom or a fire flower? Regardless of what Mario gets, there’s a pretty good chance it’ll be something nice. About the only time a question mark block will have nothing inside of it is when it’s made out of a solid block of wood.
Etsy seller Branson Customs makes these miniature Mario question mark blocks from solid oak wood. They measure about 2-3/8″ across, and all six sides have been engraved with the iconic “?” – for a nice bit of depth. Sadly, you won’t get any coins when you punch this thing, just a bruised knuckle – so don’t try that.
