Presumably oblivious that April Fools’ Day was months ago, Kraft has partnered with Brooklyn, New York-based ice cream maker Van Leeuwen to create a limited edition Kraft Macaroni & Cheese flavored frozen treat. Honestly, I’m not sure if I should cry tears of joy or disgust. You know just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
Available beginning today, July 14th (National Macaroni and Cheese Day), the limited edition mac & cheese ice cream will be for sale online at Van Leeuwen’s website ($12/pint) and at its scoop shops in New York City, Los Angeles, and Houston, until supplies run out. And let me tell you – they’re going to run out quickly. Because if there are two things people love, it’s the comfort of ice cream and mac & cheese. I’m just not sure about eating them together. Still, I suppose you don’t know until you try it, and possibly spit up a little bit on your shirt. Does anybody have a wet napkin?
