The Louis Vuitton Horizon Speaker is a Bluetooth-compatible portable speaker that looks like a UFO and lights up as it plays music. It costs $3,600, or roughly $3,500 more than I could ever imagine spending on a Bluetooth speaker. I must have one.
The silver leather-clad speaker measures 7.1″ tall and weighs 2.2 pounds, featuring “a tempered glass top ring with 23 Monogram Flowers, 12 engraved LOUIS VUITTON letters on the middle ring, as well as a tempered glass touch control bar sporting black color printing.” A 1.5-hour charge gets up to 15 hours of listening time, presumably during a yacht party.
It’s pretty, but I still can’t justify that price tag for a speaker. I’m fairly certain the last Bluetooth speaker I bought cost me $40, and it’s still going strong. Does this one at least grant wishes too? Of course, if you’re the kind of person who can comfortably spend $3,600 on a Bluetooth speaker, I’d argue your wishes have already been granted.
