It’s been almost two years since I first saw Vizio’s incredibly impressive Reference Series displays. To be honest, when I saw the early prototypes, I thought they had the best picture I’ve ever seen on a display, ever.
Doctor Who fans will want to check out this awesome LEGO announcement. The LEGO Facebook page has made it clear than an official TARDIS building set is coming soon.
We have seen DIY TARDIS sets over the years, and many of them are much more complex than the official set we see in this image.
Back to the Future is one of my all-time favorite films. In fact, the whole trilogy is pretty awesome. But it’s the 1985 original that really kicked things off, and it’s celebrating its 30th anniversary now.
I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that in the The Force Awakens, Carrier Fisher won’t be wearing her famous gold bikini. But if your girlfriend is willing to wear one, you’ll need a Jabba to go with it, and then you can play Luke.
In Back to the Future II, Marty and Doc jump forward by 30 years, and the date set on their DeLorean time machine was October 21, 2015. That date is nearly upon us, and to celebrate, a new Back to the Future Blu-ray box set is coming to a store near you.
All I know about the Russian culture I learned watching TV and movies. What that in-depth study tells me is that they all eat caviar, drink copious amounts of vodka, and wear hats with furry parts on the forehead.
Artists usually place a hidden track or two in their albums. The upcoming three EPs of electronic artist Captain Credible on the other hand will each have a randomly generated track.
The Dead Cats EPs are based on an ATtiny85 microcontroller and Captain Credible’s Arduino sketches.
If you’re a football fan, you want to be plugged in to your favorite teams wherever you go. DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket TV is designed to offer NFL games streamed to all of your digital devices so you don’t miss a minute of the game.
As we gear up for the The Force Awakens to hit theaters, everyone is getting excited, and Star Wars stuff is turning up everywhere. I really like it when lightsabers pop up in weird places that have nothing to do with Star Wars.
In the future, your home theater might need to be outside of your actual home. A collaboration between research group Fraunhofer and the Max Planck Institute’s Biological Cybernetics group has led to the creation of a cable robot perfectly suited to vehicle simulations.
Back in the day, the only way I could watch Star Trek: The Next Generation on local networks was to stay up really late. Those were the days well before DVRs, and no one in my house was qualified to program a VCR, so you watched it when it aired or you missed it altogether.
We are only a couple months away from the new Star Wars flick The Force Awakens hitting theaters. Not too long ago, many of the toys that go along with movie started to hit stores, along with many pre-order opportunities.
Some interesting teasers have been floating around on the web. These teasers show something from Nickelodeon that hints at a new cartoon network called “The Splat.” Even more interesting is that these teasers seem to hint at the entire network being packed with old cartoons from the ’90s.
There are some very cool mods for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V out there, but I think this one takes the cake. At least it takes the cake if you love the ’80s time travel classic Back to the Future.
The last time we talked about Ghostbusters action figures they were the weird Vinyl Idolz versions with the funky, beady eyes. This time we have a set of Titans vinyl action figures, complete with oversized heads and wedge-shaped bodies.
