Hot Wheels Creates Real Life X-Wing Race Car

Hot Wheels Creates Real Life X-Wing Race Car
Check out this one-of-a-kind Star Wars X-Wing Fighter vehicle from Hot Wheels. It’s full size, mind you. Not a tiny toy. It is currently on display at San Diego Comic-Con. Wow. Just wow. The only problem I see is that the thing probably cost more money than that most humans could ever afford, but that’s okay. I mean, it doesn’t even have a working Astromech Droid and doesn’t even get off the ground anyway.

Kirby Cafes Coming to Japan: Suck up Some Delicious Eats

Kirby Cafes Coming to Japan: Suck up Some Delicious Eats
Good ole Kirby is coming to Japan, but you’ll be doing all the inhaling this time. That’s because Kirby will be coming to a chain of cafes, and he’s bringing along some tasty looking eats. These desserts look particularly appealing: I’m not sure if that is a tomato flavored cupcake or not though.

Just a Giant Panda Wearing Iron Man Armor

Just a Giant Panda Wearing Iron Man Armor
I guess I’m out of the loop on this one, because I had no idea that the Chinese loved Iron Man so much. They really do. Of course they also love pandas. Like, really love pandas.

Lightsaber Wall Hooks Hang Your Jedi Robes

Lightsaber Wall Hooks Hang Your Jedi Robes
We all need somewhere to hang our hats, robes, or backpacks. If you’re a Star Wars geek, the best way to hang anything are these Star Wars Lightsaber wall hooks. You get a pair of them and it looks like the sabers have slashed into your wall. One blade is blue and the other is red with hilts based on Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader sabers.

Boba Fett Build-a-Bear Puts a Bounty on your Heart

Boba Fett Build-a-Bear Puts a Bounty on your Heart
Build-a-Bear Workshop is a place where I have spent more money than I want to even think about. If your kids (or you) are into stuffed animals and Star Wars, you will want to go by the mall and pick one of these up.

A Supercharged Roomba Speeds Around a Park

A Supercharged Roomba Speeds Around a Park
Roombas are pretty handy little robot vacuum cleaners. Even if they do do their job super slowly. But if you have ever wondered what a Roomba would look like on crack, check out this video. It is the fastest Roomba ever. This previously broken Roomba vacuum robot was modified by Warusoneko.

Fallout Power Helmet Bank Won’t Hold Bottle Caps

Fallout Power Helmet Bank Won’t Hold Bottle Caps
I long ago left the old T-45 Power armor behind, and now schlep around the wasteland in by badass flamed out X-01 power armor. T-45 is for plebs. ThinkGeek has a sweet Fallout Power Helmet coin bank that will hold your quarters, but won’t hold caps because the slot is too thin. It looks like it’s made of metal, but it’s actually painted vinyl.

How to Train your Dragon Toothless Couch

How to Train your Dragon Toothless Couch
For the first episode of the third season of “Super-Fan Builds” the folks at AWE went all out and created a couch shaped like Toothless from “Dragons: Race to the Edge”. They built it for a hardcore fan of How to Train Your Dragon.

This Pulley Clock Tells Time with Almost 4,000 Feet of String

This Pulley Clock Tells Time with Almost 4,000 Feet of String
We’ve seen our share of complicated clocks, but we’ve never seen anything like Felix Vorreiter’s FLUX 1440. This clock displays the time using a simple pulley system, and over 3,900 feet of white string. The white string is covered in what looks like random marks, but they are anything but random.

Star Trek TNG Bedding Makes it So (Comfortable)

Star Trek TNG Bedding Makes it So (Comfortable)
Star Trek the Next Generation is my favorite of the series. It was the one I grew up with and ran for way longer than the original series. Picard is the man, and proudly wore his red uniform without worry of being evaporated on some away mission. If you want to celebrate your geekiness with a bed fit for a Starfleet captain, you need this bedding.

Hop Aboard the Real Catbus!

Hop Aboard the Real Catbus!
There are a lot of things about Japan that I don’t understand. Like, why do you need to see inside your ears with a video camera. I also don’t understand Catbus. This strange creature comes to us courtesy of the world of Totoro.

Play Tetris on This Bookcase

Play Tetris on This Bookcase
Books are so last century. Maybe we can come up with a better use for those old outdated bookcases. That’s what Øyvind Berntsen did. He added LEDs to the cells of his bookcase, then made them programmable so he can display pixelated images in multiple colors.

Make Your Own Rocket Lamp and Blast Off

Make Your Own Rocket Lamp and Blast Off
This amazing table lamp shows the power and majesty of a rocket taking off. You can’t buy it, but if you think it looks awesome, as I do, you can make one yourself. If you want to try to DIY, you’ll need this model kit, a bunch of polypropylene pillow stuffing for the clouds, as well as the instructions outlined on Tinkerings.

This Epic K’Nex Ball Machine Is a True Mechanical Marvel

This Epic K’Nex Ball Machine Is a True Mechanical Marvel
Some people build simple stuff using K’Nex, but others like to build huge contraptions like this. This is The Citadel, a huge K’nex ball moving machine built by YouTuber Shadowman. It took him about 3 years to build it. The machine features more than dozens of unique sections, lifts, and mechanisms that separate balls into 17 different paths.

LEGO Planet Express Ship: Our Minifig Crew Is Replaceable, Your Package Isn’t

LEGO Planet Express Ship: Our Minifig Crew Is Replaceable, Your Package Isn’t
I didn’t know that designing LEGO constructs in the virtual world was a thing. It clearly is because this spaceship for Futurama was designed by a dude called Nicola Stocchi using LEGO Digital Designer. The digitally-rendered spacecraft has 5112 parts and looks gigantic. My question is if you can design this thing in Digital Designer, could you not actually build it so we can see it in its real world glory?

Colin Furze Builds World’s Most Effective Doorbell System

Colin Furze Builds World’s Most Effective Doorbell System
Inventor Colin Furze is known for building crazy stuff – from jet trikes to guitars that shoot fire. So you might be scratching your head wondering why his latest contraption is… a doorbell. But this isn’t just any doorbell.
