Gamer Charm Necklaces: Wear Your Geek ‘Round Your Neck

Gamer Charm Necklaces: Wear Your Geek ‘Round Your Neck
Who says geek fashion accessories are only for guys? These necklaces are perfect for the gamer girl in your life. Created by San Antonio’s NBsCloset, each one of these tech-inspired pendants is custom cut and etched from fiber boards using a (frickin’) laser beam. It seems that NB has a particular affinity towards Nintendo controllers, what with mini necklace versions of the Wii-Mote, the NES Zapper light gun, and the classic (but much maligned) Power Glove controller. Of course, Nintendo controllers aren’t the only thing you can wear around your neck.

Lightsabers for the Eco-Conscious Jedi

Lightsabers for the Eco-Conscious Jedi
Just because your primary weapon is a lightsaber, young Jedi, doesn’t mean that you have to be an energy hog when you’re fighting back throngs of Stoormtroopers. This amusing t-shirt from Ruby Red Design envisions an EnergyStar compliant galaxy far, far away.

Clear More Rows With the Tetris T-Shirt

Clear More Rows With the Tetris T-Shirt
We’ve seen Tetris waffles, Tetris ice cubes, and so much more. Now we have this t-shirt to complete your fully actualized Tetris-fied lifestyle. While this looks pretty cool, I would like to express a few concerns I have about this design.

Nerd Out Your Neckline With Computer Key Jewelry

Nerd Out Your Neckline With Computer Key Jewelry
These cool necklaces feature a recycled computer key fused to a hand-cut glass tile. The perfect gift for the geeky girl in your life! These beauts are handmade by Capitola Girl Jewelry. She sells them on Etsy for 29 bucks.

Video Game Belt Buckles: Keep Your Pants on, Pal.

Video Game Belt Buckles: Keep Your Pants on, Pal.
Other than maybe one of those giant glitzy wresting belts, I can’t think of a more rockin’ thing to wear around your waist than one of these nifty retro video game belt buckles. Handmade by artist Natalie Hutcheson (aka “HutchMe”), these metal buckles don imagery of famous icons of classic arcade games.

Cat 5 Wedding Rings Keep Partners Connected

Cat 5 Wedding Rings Keep Partners Connected
If you’re getting ready to pop the question to that techie guy or gal in your life, here’s a set of wedding rings that you’ve just got to think about for your impending nuptials. Seattle artist Jana Brevick handcrafts these most excellent sterling silver Cat 5 Ethernet connector wedding rings for true geeks in love.

IPhone Bluetooth Headsets: Heavy Metal in Your Ears

IPhone Bluetooth Headsets: Heavy Metal in Your Ears
Apple’s iPhone Bluetooth wireless headset revels in its minimal design. But what’s to say that it couldn’t handle a little extra sophistication and elan? German jewelry designer Andi Monn took the opportunity to dress up the iPhone’s earpiece with these striking metal covers.

Atari 2600: a Video Game Odyssey

Atari 2600: a Video Game Odyssey
Remember the ape/monolith scene from Kubrick’s classic 2001:A Space Odyssey? Apparently these apes didn’t get the memo that it wasn’t an Odyssey [console] at all, but actually an Atari 2600. This imaginative t-shirt by Akron, Ohio illustrator psychoreindeer reimagines that fateful monkey moment with a gigantic Atari joystick in place of the big black slab.

Rhombus Dress Shirt Hides Binary Code

Rhombus Dress Shirt Hides Binary Code
At first glance this just looks like a nice, stylish button-down dress shirt. But upon further examination, you’ll notice that its shading isn’t just some sort of abstract pattern. It’s actually comprised of tens of thousands of little 0’s and 1’s. Rhombus’ James and Boris dress shirts are just perfect for the computer geek with fashion sense (although I’m not sure how large that intersection would look on a Venn diagram).

Space Invaders Hoodie Keeps Aliens, Elements Out

Space Invaders Hoodie Keeps Aliens, Elements Out
Dunh-Dunh, Dunh-Dunh, Dun-Dun, Dun-Dun, Du-Du-Du-Du. Those pesky Space Invaders are coming to your town to help you party down. Or at least they’re ready to help you keep warm on a windy day with this spiffy Invaders-themed hoodie. These cotton knitwear zippered hoodies feature tons of little green Invaders all over the surface.

T-Shirt is Drunk on Web 2.0’S Kool-Aid

T-Shirt is Drunk on Web 2.0’S Kool-Aid
Mule Design came out with this Web 2.0/Kool-Aid mashup t-shirt. But why? Simply to express their enthusiasm for the state of the net by conflating Web 2.0 and delicious fruity powders that turn into refreshing beverages? Nope.

Super Mario Goomba Cufflinks Are Hot, or Not

Super Mario Goomba Cufflinks Are Hot, or Not
These pixelated cufflinks feature the dreaded goombas of Super Mario Bros. lore. Etsy crafter pixelparty makes them from shrink plastic (like ShrinkyDinks?) and silver-tone hardware. He hilariously notes that “…if mario doesn’t get his princess (who seems to be castle hopping, maybe she’s the player and mario is getting played) well then he’ll never be a player.

Atari Joystick T-Shirt Says “Control Me” – Literally

Atari Joystick T-Shirt Says “Control Me” – Literally
Let people know you like to be pushed around with this “Control Me” Atari joystick tee. While I will admit that the retro video game-themed t-shirt genre is already pretty crowded, I think this particular tee stands out because of it’s rough-edged, hand-drawn graphics and its classic color scheme.

Fun Sonic the Hedgehog Necklace Rules

Fun Sonic the Hedgehog Necklace Rules
Look at this playful shrinky plastic Sonic necklace from Etsy seller geekchicboutique. It’s very cool, but just because I have been charmed and distracted by it doesn’t mean I’ve forsaken my madcap Tetris obsession. I mean, even though the elusive gold rings Sonic loves to collect have been thoughtfully included here doesn’t mean I’ve lost my focus.
