If you thought the Air Guitar Pro I showed you was for musical wannabes, I’ve dug up this truly amazing new gadget those of you who take your guitar talents more seriously. Line 6’s Pocket POD is a handheld device that plugs in between your guitar and your amp, and lets you add a huge number of studio-quality sound effects to your jams.

Well, now that I’ve had about a day to try out my new iPhone, I’m ready to give you guys my initial impressions. First off, my purchasing experience was surprisingly painless. I arrived around 5:20pm on launch day at the AT&T store that’s by Harlem and Irving Park Avenues, just Northwest of Chicago.

Look what I just got my grubby little hands on… After a brief, uneventful visit to my local AT&T store (on the Northwest side of Chicago,) I managed to score one of the last couple of 8GB iPhones in stock.

Whether you’re holding off on that new iPhone purchase until version 2.0, or you’re already camping out, this fun online plaything should keep you occupied while you’re waiting. The wonderfully-named iSmudginator is a bit of interactive Flash that lets you simulate what will happen to your shiny new iPhone after you’ve put it through it’s paces.

AT&T and Apple today revealed what it will cost monthly to use your shiny new iPhone. The good news is that all of the calling and data plans include unlimited data, Visual Voicemail and mobile-to-mobile calling.

The latest media player from iRiver has got to be one of the most beautifully designed gadgets I’ve seen in a while. The iRiver NV features a clean minimal design with a large 7-inch LCD screen.

This new digital watch out of China features a fully-functional mobile phone under the hood. The M300 Watch Phone offers an unlocked quad-band GSM phone, which should work in most parts of the world. The watch has a built in speaker and microphone so you can talk directly into it.

Archos today revealed their new 5th generation personal media players, and it looks like a really strong collection. With models starting out at as little as $90 and ranging up to $300 and more, there’s a little something for everyone.
