Like millions of you out there, I’m stoked for the Season 3.2 return of The Walking Dead tonight. In honor of the occasion, our friends over at KitchenOverlord have put together a little recipe you can throw together, even while the zombie horde descends on your camp.
I lived in New Orleans for a number of years, so I’m actually quite familiar with the taste of turtle soup. It’s actually not bad – mainly because all of the creole seasonings pretty much drown out the flavor of the turtles who gave their lives for the stuff.
Check out these sweet Doctor Who cookies. They were made by some friends of tumblr user falsenostalgia-sundries and seeing them all laid out on that tray makes me think that this is an animated kid’s special waiting to happen.
Go figure that this isn’t actually the first time we’ve featured a Pokémon bra here on Technabob, but this is most definitely the sparkliest Pokémon bra we’ve had on the site. And since you guys probably can’t resist a good pair of Pokéballs Pokéboobs, now’s as good a time as any to feature this sexy/geeky underthing.
Redditor morphinapg used a freeware program called Sqirlz Morph to mash together the faces of actors who have played Batman and make this composite image. The features of the man below is an even blend of Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and Christian Bale.
If it wasn’t obvious enough already, we’re pretty big fans of Doctor Who around here. I also like to eat – especially sweets. So when I saw these delicious looking Dalek cupcakes, I started drooling as much as my dog does when I’m eating steak.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to one and all! While here on Earth, your presents should have been delivered under the tree by a fat, bearded man who came down the chimney and ate your cookies (boy that sounds a bit creepy when I say it that way), if you happen to live in the Mushroom Kingdom, Santa has a unique way of delivering presents.
Like the various countries in the real world, different videogames have different currencies. deviantART member/virtual economist/pun visualizer Matt Cowan pulled the exchange rate for various game currencies right out of his witty ass and created this funny artwork.
If you’re thinking about getting married, and both you and your significant other are into classic video games, then I can’t think of anything better than these Zelda wedding bands as a symbol of your undying commitment to love, honor, and cherish one another (and occasionally dust off the old NES console together.)
…and Gondor, Eriador, Rohan, Arnor, Rhovanion and Rhun and whatever uncharted land is on Middle Earth. But Flickr user Kristy pulled it off with style at Dragon*Con:
The dress was made by Flickr user Cressiebeth, who said “I worked with a graphic designer who created the “repeat” map pattern and Spoonflower.com
Now I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to draw on U.S. currency, but the way I see it, it’s your money and you should be allowed to do what you want with it. So while these hacked dollar bills are probably no longer legal tender, they are pretty damned awesome anyhow.
