Some guy with a cell phone camera recorded this incident at a recent press conference showing off Honda’s Asimo humanoid robot. Robot Teddy Bear Gives Directions

Robot Teddy Bear Gives Directions
This has gotta be one of the creepier robotic animals I’ve seen from Japan in some time (or at least this week.) This frightening little guy sits on your dashboard and uses GPS technology to point you in the direction of your destination.

Classic Snl Commercial: Old Glory Robot Insurance
There hasn’t been a lot of interesting news in robotics in the last few weeks, so I don’t get to post as often as I’d like about robots. That said, I thought this little video clip might tide you over.

Autonomous Jeep Conquers Pikes Peak
Axion Racing’s robotic Jeep Grand Cherokee is the first computer-controlled vehicle to conquer the complexities of climbing to the 14,110 foot summit of Colorado’s Pikes Peak. The tricked-out SUV climed to the top in just over 47 minutes, certainly not record time, but still quite impressive for a vehicle that has no driver.
