This street legal Batmobile was built by 29-year-old Zac Mihajlovic of Camden, Australia. It took him two years to complete. It’s based on the Batmobile driven by Michael Keaton in the 1989 Tim Burton Batman movie. 

Product designer Ádám Török, from Sopron, Hungary, came up with the idea for this truly unique scooter. He made it for a school graduation project. His thinking is that in the future, most vehicles will be portable.

We’ve featured Kenji Ishida’s progress regarding his transforming robot over the years. The first three models we saw were already coveted toys, but Kenji made it clear early on that his ultimate goal was to create a life-sized car that transforms into a humanoid robot. 

Mario Kart is awesome, but it just makes you wish you had a real life version to zip around in and throw banana peels and turtle shells. Well Razor is making a real life version. The Razor Cray Cart XL is a follow-up to a smaller version they made for kids a while back.

3D printers are the wave of the future for more than just printing small repair parts in space or action figures and other items. Some firms, like Local Motors, envision 3D printing as a way to build cars in the future.

After the Batman Tumbler set, LEGO’s next major Ultimate Collectors Series release is the 75060 Slave I. The ship is made of 1996 pieces and comes with minifigs, including of course its pilot Boba Fett. I love the chipped paint graphic on the ship’s pieces.

If you are into music, you probably know who Deadmau5 is. I’m not a big fan of his music, but I did like his Nyan Cat Ferrari. Ferrari took issue with how that car was clad and eventually, Deadmau5 ditched the Purrari.

Folding bikes only fold down so far. It is usually limited by the chain. You can’t fold that. So why not ditch the chain? That’s what Bygen’s Hank Direct Bike has done. Instead of a chain, or even a belt, it has a direct-drive system.

Malloy Aeronautics in the UK is developing a flying quadcopter designed for human riders. Right now they are testing a 1/3 scale model proof-of-concept vehicle called the Drone 3 that has a robot riding it. Now imagine a full scale version of this thing chasing you down with a larger robot and outfitted with lasers.

What kind of guy covers his car in popcorn? That would be Jacob Aaron Schroeder, a Minneapolis based artist. Once he popped, he just couldn’t be stopped. Don’t worry, it was done in a jiffy. I don’t know if that’s accurate, but there may be a kernel of truth to that statement.
