As further evidence that you can make anything with LEGO, we are now making minifigures puke their guts out on tiny amusement park rides. Check out this 3-axis LEGO Technic thrill ride made by LEGO enthusiast Shadow Elenter.
Of all the Pokémon, Pikachu is probably the best known. This is because he is cute and yellow and makes that Pika…PIKA… PIIIIKKKKAAAAA scream right before he electrocutes the shit out of something. Japan is obsessed with Pokémon, as is much of the world right now thanks to Pokémon GO.
Imagine a roller coaster that has no motors or winches. Instead, you must use your brute strength to pedal your way along its rails. One that is four stories high, with no guard rail, and the only thing keeping you in your seat is a seat belt.
Ever wanted to work in a traveling carnival, but didn’t want to deal with the long hours, grueling travel, and sketchy carny folk? Well now you can pretend to join the carnival without ever leaving your living room, courtesy of our friends at LEGO.
I go to amusement parks, but if I’m being honest, I’m not a big fan of heights. I don’t tell people I’m afraid of heights because I don’t want to be a puss. So I do the next best thing, I walk really slowly and scream at anyone who touches me even slightly because I’m convinced I’ll suddenly fly off those high platforms.
Inception was both an eye-opening and mind-opening movie, although it was mostly and obviously fiction. Floating people and objects will never become a reality unless somethings gone awry with gravity. But then again – is it possible?
I have never been to LEGOLAND, but it has to be one of the things geeks need to see before they die. I thought I had a sweet gig getting to sit at home and write about gadgets all day, but these dudes at LEGOLAND California building up a massive Star Wars area all day make me jealous.
Looking for a cheap thrill (ride)? Why not avoid paying the $50 admission and standing in endless lines at your local theme park and instead ride a tiny roller coaster that you can keep in your pocket?
