McDonalds in China is getting some themed food to celebrate the launch of The Angry Birds Movie. One of those burgers has a green bun. I’ve had a green burger from McDonalds before, only in my case the green was mold none of the burger makers seemed to notice ALL OVER THE BUN before they put it in the bag.

Angry Birds is one of the most popular mobile game franchises of all time. There have been several games launched in the series and until the Angry Birds Go racing game landed, most of the apps had the same basic game play.

Everyone loves to play Angry Birds. Especially Angry Birds Star Wars. Kids really love to play the games. So imagine how awesome it would be to get this Angry Birds piñata for your kid’s next birthday party.

The first time we heard anything about a feature-length animated film coming from Rovio focusing on the hit video game Angry Birds was in December of 2012. At the time, Rovio had lined up a producer and work was underway on the film.

There’s literally tons of Angry Birds merch on the market, and most of it is pretty craptastic. But these Angry Birds characters that open up like Transformers are brilliant.

If you’re a big fan of the Angry Birds video game series, you’re familiar with developer Rovio. Little tidbits have surfaced here and there that a film based on the popular franchise is in the works.

Remember the sweet flying shark Air Swimmer? Well I guess the guys behind Angry Birds couldn’t resist getting in on the R/C blimp action and have teamed up with Air Swimmers to release an Angry Birds version.

The Star Wars version of Angry Birds is now upon us, and it looks like people are loving it so far. And by people, I mean me and my colleagues at work. The Birds take their beef to outer space by battling the evil pigs that are all stormtroopered out.

One of the most popular smartphone applications on any platform  has been the Angry Birds franchise. Now, it’s maker, Rovio has teamed up for something that will have kids in Finland screaming with joy. Rovio and Finnish hotel and resort company Holiday Club will be building Angry Birds Activity Parks in three of its spa hotels.

Rovio is well-known as the developer and publisher of the insanely popular video game Angry Birds. This week, the company launched a new game called Bad Piggies that is told from the pigs point of view.

If you’re a fan of rock ‘n roll, odds are you’re familiar with the band Queen, and you know the late vocal talent of Freddie Mercury was the frontman for the group. To celebrate his birthday, Rovio made Freddie Mercury an honorary member of the Angry Birds family.

Say what you want about its origins or depth, but Angry Birds is a prime example of touchscreen gaming done right. But what about its PC and Mac versions? Maybe Rovio should’ve included something similar to this USB controller.

If you’re a fan of Angry Birds, and you must absolutely play every available level for the game, you’ll definitely want to check out the new Intel branded version of the popular game on Facebook. In the Intel Angry Birds game, the birds follow those dastardly green pigs inside the brains of an computer.

Angry Birds is the new Tetris. It’s everywhere: phones, tablets, desktop computers, handheld videogame systems and even on a browser. Illustrator and graphic designer Giorgio Cantú imagines what it would be like if the game appeared on its own Nintendo Game & Watch too:

While I really don’t think we need any more Angry Birds merchandise, I have to say this is one of the better product tie-ins I’ve seen so far. What we’ve got here is the Angry Birds Helicopter, which actually lets you practice flying your bird with a remote control.

When I was a kid cartoons based on video games were very common. We had a cartoon for Pac-Man, Mario Brothers, and a few others. For some reason these days it’s not so common to have a cartoon based on a video game.
