We’ve certainly seen our share of Kinect hacks around here, but I have to say this is one I haven’t run across before. These dramatic photos were shot using the infrared 3D mapping dots that the Kinect projects, viewed through an infrared lens filter.

I’ve never imagined polygonal Star Wars characters, except maybe in some wireframe pre-production CGI shots of the new movies, but I have to say that Liam Brazier’s creations do look amazing. These polygonal characters from Star Wars are definitely unique and put a different spin on your favorite villains.

While I personally wasn’t that into Duck Hunt, the classic shooting game on the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System, I have to say that this piece of art that combines pixel art with traditional art is lots of fun.

I’ve always enjoyed modern art, but involving the viewer with these paintings that only become visible after you take a photo with your cell phone or your camera is genius.

I just knew that controller evolution chart was missing some species. Thanks to artist Roger Ibars, my suspicions have been confirmed. His “Hard-wired devices” collection consists of 100 video game controllers, starting from the Atari 2600 Joystick and ending with a Guitar Hero guitar peripheral.

Mateusz Sypien’s Star Wars Tribute art isn’t filled with Jedis and Ewoks. Nope, it only features three characters, and they operate on the Dark Side of the Force. Well, actually only Darth Vader is officially from the Dark Side, but the other guys aren’t exactly good guys.

Wouldn’t the world be better with a few more rainbows? If you thought at any point you were a vandal and “left your mark” just know that you will never be as memorable as this guy.

If you are the sort that has to be unique, that can be hard to do if your computer of choice is a notebook. With a desktop PC, there is enough room to get fancy with case mods and such, but not so much on a notebook.

We cover quite a few odd clocks and watches around here. Of all the wall clocks I have ever seen, this awesome Swiss-made wall clock called Art du Temps could be the best ever. The thing I like so much is that despite its looks, it’s not digital at all.

Back when I had a SEGA Dreamcast, one of my absolute favorite titles was Jet Set Radio (aka Jet Grind Radio here in the States). Not only did the game feature ground-breaking, beautiful cell-shaded animations and an awesome soundtrack, it was insanely addictive.
