This is one amazing LEGO Bender. It was built by Adrian Drake aka BrickFrenzy, for the recent Brickworld convention in Chicago. This LEGO statue stands six feet tall and took about a month to build.

Futurama’s Bender is quite possibly the greatest robotic character in the history of television or the movies. Sure, there are more sophisticated robots like David in Prometheus, but none has made us guffaw as hard as the perpetually drunken, self-absorbed, belligerent, and conniving robot that is Bender Bending Rodriguez.

Bender is a complete wise-ass. So are many toddlers – they just don’t realize it yet. At least if you see a little kid wearing this hat, you’ll know they could be trouble.

I know it’s a primitive dice game, but I’ve always loved Yahtzee. I think it’s because it’s basically like playing poker, but with dice. And what better thing to combine with my compulsive gambling habit but a drunk-ass, foul-mouthed, beer-swilling bending robot?

How many times in your life will you have the opportunity to buy an entire set of life-size robots to take over your home? Well, if you happen to have $54,900 (USD) lying around gathering dust, now is your chance.

Ah, look at that pair. Aren’t they adorable? Sure they are, until they grow up to be wisecracking, cigar-smoking, foul mouthed robots. But for now they are just precious. If I were older, I would pinch their cheek and give them a hard candy.

As a Futurama fan myself, I’ve had a Bender figure on my desk for years. He’s even got a tiny bottle of beer and a cigar you can put in his hands. But now that I see this new and improved Bender, I think it might be time for me to upgrade.

I’ve always loved toques, but I have shied away from decorative ones. Check out this Bender toque that was crocheted by hand by Cheewawamomma! You have to admit that Bender is one of the most likable robots on TV, given his sunny disposition.

Although I like Zoidberg the least among these squishy characters from Futurama, he probably makes the best plush toy since he reminds me of the almighty Cthulhu.

While I was digging around looking at that awesome metal AT-AT sculpture by artist Sage Werbock (aka “The Great Nippulini” – don’t ask), I stumbled onto an even bigger, badder metal creation over on his Etsy shop…

Ah, Mondays. Thankfully, we’re already Tuesday, so heck, Monday went by pretty fast. Still, I don’t really like Mondays. I really like Fridays, how about you guys? This funny animated gif is from Futurama, and if you haven’t watched the new episodes on the Comedy Central, you should.

While I don’t drink enough to need an actual t-shirt that has an integrated beer opener, I guess that for some people, this might be very handy indeed, especially during Spring Break. The flexible-armed robot on the BeerBot T-shirt actually makes me think of Bender from Futurama, which just started its sixth season on Comedy Central, and does not have its own beer-bottle opener t-shirt (yet.)

If you haven’t heard, the new season of Futurama just started on Comedy Central. In last night’s episode, Mom Robots released a new and updated version of their eyePhone, a phone that is pushed right into your eye!

One of the best things in Futurama is Bender. Sure, the professor is cool, but Bender just has that certain appeal, especially with his robotic drinking and smoking ways. Metalworker Des Bromilow has now built a life-sized replica of Bender.

If you’re a Futurama fanboy or fangirl, have I got something for you – assuming you have an iPhone or some other mobile gadget that needs protectin’.

What better way to store your important files than inside the body a tiny little robot? These USB flash drives sort of remind me of Futurama’s Bender Bending Rodriguez, what with their bendy metallic arms. But these robots won’t tell you to bite their shiny metal behinds.
