Apparently firm believers that no ideas are bad ideas, the YouTube channel Play To DIY constructed a bicycle almost entirely out of concrete. The behemoth bike weighs an incredible 134.5 kg (~296 lb), and actually balances and rides pretty smoothly, all things considered.

I was just thinking the other day how crazy it was that nobody had made a mobile ping-pong table; then today, I wake up and see this: Le vélo table de ping-pong, an art piece constructed by Benedetto Bufalino.

Most electric bikes are lacking in features, except of course for the most obvious one, that being that it’s an electric bike. Well, have a look at the Uni Micro Electric Folding Bike. It has a retro vibe, but with some cleaner, modern lines. 

Binge watching your favorite shows is making you soft and doughy, but that’s okay – the Cycflix is here to help. Basically, the Cycflix is an exercise-powered home entertainment system that makes you workout for the right to watch Netflix.

The folks at Kolelinia have created a unique personal mobility device called the Halfbike. It is basically a pedal-powered scooter or standing tricycle that is compact and light, so you can take it anywhere with you.

The problem with tires is of course, that they will go flat – especially those high pressure ones on bicycles. The best way to make sure your tires never deflate is to never inflate them in the first place.

At first glance, this looks like any other wall-mount bike rack on the market. You can use it to hold both your bike and your cycling gear. However, the Oakmulgee Bike Station Rack is different. Its design lets you mount bicycles in several different ways.

The way we ride bikes now is to just sit there, peddling, hunched forward. When you think about it, it’s kind of unnatural. If this Bird of Prey bike takes off, people will be riding bikes in a whole new way though.

Check out this ridiculously long bicycle. It was built by Mijil Van Mares Werkploeg, a cycling organization in the Netherlands. They built it specifically to get into the Guinness Book of World Records, and not because they like never being able to park their bike.

Mike Lane’s Pedi-Scope is a simple analog device that will free cyclists of squealing from their neck pain. Squeaking from the freaking. Oinking from the boinking. The Pedi-Scope straps to the front of your bicycle and shows the view up front on a horizontal glass display, letting you see what’s ahead while you’re looking down.

If you can’t get the hang of bike share programs because you can’t seem to return them on time, then maybe you might want to check out the Shoulder Bike. It features a neat design that makes the bike easier to carry or transport, specially if you’re walking on a crowded sidewalk.

Clothing company Uniqlo asked the mad engineer Colin Furze to go to a cold place while wearing its thermal shirt. To keep himself busy – and because he’s crazy – in the barren plains, Colin decided to bring a bicycle along.

Folding bikes only fold down so far. It is usually limited by the chain. You can’t fold that. So why not ditch the chain? That’s what Bygen’s Hank Direct Bike has done. Instead of a chain, or even a belt, it has a direct-drive system.
