Nintendo remade The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in high definition for their sinking ship the Wii U. Nerdache Cakes on the other hand remade the game’s characters in edible 3D. Her lucky customer had cel shading and ate it.
We’ve already seen an intricate cake that replicates Jupiter, but here’s a space-inspired cake that lands a little closer to home. This lunar landing cake needs to fly off of its orbit around Earth and crash land on my dinner table.
This is the planet Jupiter and it’s also an awesome work of art. It looks like one of those Styrofoam models that kids make for their Science class projects, except it’s loads better. That’s because this Jupiter isn’t made from Styro; it’s actually a cake!
Fans of the LEGO Batman video games will appreciate the amazing amount of detail that went into this cake. I mean, we all know Gotham is a crap-hole of a city – despite the fact that Batman has been fighting crime there for like 100 years.
We’ve seen some impressive Star Wars cakes, but this AT-AT takes the proverbial cake. This thing looks amazing and the details are super nice – so nice that it doesn’t even look like a cake. It was made by Cake Central member ChrisTheCook for a friend’s wedding and it stands at over two feet-tall.
If Arnold had encountered this Predator, the movie would have been five minutes of him, Carl Weathers and Jesse “The Body” Ventura stuffing their faces. Did I say Arnold and the gang? I meant me. This Predator cake by Kupkake Tree is incredibly detailed to the point where it looks horrifying – in a good way.
I always wondered how clean it was down in those pipes where Mario would duck into. I certainly wouldn’t want to jump into some green pipe sticking out of the sidewalk. While a real sewer pipe might not be so pleasant, this one is filled with nothing but tasty goodness.
Princess Leia must have had too much cake and sent this to me as a gift. Nice! Now shut off that hologram and get in my belly, little droid! This awesome R2-D2 cake actually projects Leia’s holographic message.
Remember the classic Road Runner cartoons? That crazy coyote tried everything, but he never managed to catch the Road Runner. No matter how many ACME gadgets he used, his speedy foe always got away. It’s a fun cartoon for kids and adults.
This Battle of Hoth cake makes the battle different than I remember. Thanks a lot Han and Leia. The rebels are facing the Empire in a battle round and round this cake, while the pair of them are busy getting married up top.
Call Chell, she’s gonna love this! It’s a cake mix for making the chocolate cake that GLaDOS promised the hero of Portal as a prize. Is this Aperture Laboratories’ way of making amends to all its test subjects?
