I would bet anyone that has an iPhone has tried at one point or another to shoot photos with the built-in camera. The iPhone 4 has a flash built-in, but that flash is not very powerful meaning you end up with dark photos if the subject is too far away.

I have often complained that my iPhone has a camera that is crap. The images are always dark, blurry, and just don’t look good. The iPhone 4 is a bit better than my 3GS was, but I still can’t get decent shots.

Ever since someone took a mobile phone and crammed a crappy camera sensor inside, we have called a lot of the devices on the market camera phones. That is a misleading name if you ask me and most of the people who have actually tried to take pics using a camera phone.
