You get together with the boys on Wednesday nights and play a couple of hands of poker and lose all of your money. All in all, not that great of a time. (Except for the time when there were four Princess Leia cosplays who were invited. That - that was fun.) With the Star Wars Poker Set, you're guaranteed a good time, since anything that involves Star Wars memorabilia is automatically exciting.

Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of Space Invaders-themed stuff. Although some aren’t things I’m very fond of (like the Space Invaders silk tie), there are some that I definitely think are worth getting (like the Space Invaders Alarm Clock and the Space Invaders Multi Tool.)

One of the first games I got hooked to on the PC was Solitaire. Our computer then ran on Windows ’95, with a wonderful CRT monitor that cost more than laptops do these days. I would try to finish the game as quickly as possible, and gaze proudly at the screen when the cards would go berserk and flying all over the screen when I won the game.

I am not a card person. I rarely read them if you send them to me and if you don’t send them to me I won’t think twice about it. There are some people who are card people though and if you are the sort of card person that likes to send them, you need to get some of these awesome Mechanicards to give out.

Looks like Nintendo is readying the release of sets of playing cards that feature all of our favorite characters on their faces. You’ll be able to choose from three sets, one with cartoony illustrations, another with 3D CGI versions, and the last with pixelated 8-bit characters – my personal favorite.

I’ve always found something mystical about Tarot cards, ever since I saw them in James Bond’s Live or Let Die. Although I don’t own a set, I think these Lost Tarot cards are really cool. These Tarot cards were designed by Alex Griendling.

Plain ol’ holiday cards can just be so bland: stars, snowy evenings, cultural or religious imagery… eh. You know what I like in my holidays? Co-op games and zombies. All the better if I can get them all on one little piece of paper which I can then send to all my friends.

Our friends over at Meninos are at it again. The same guys who gave us those great iPhone icon coasters are back, and this time they’re packing a deck of iPhone playing cards. While they look a bit more squatty than the proportions of an actual iPhone, these whimsical playing cards definitely get the point across.
