It seems like this is the year that many manufacturers are trying to get into the fitness tracking wristband market, which has been largely dominated by the Nike+ FuelBand since it came out. Now LG has outed a gadget which seems like a mashup of many different devices, all put onto your wrist.

Panasonic has pulled the covers off a couple new tablets that fall in the company’s rugged Toughpad line. The most interesting, and expensive of these new tablets is the ToughPad FZ-G1. The tablet has a 10.1-inch screen and runs Windows 8 Pro.

My local movie theater has a number of auditoriums with different screen sizes. While most of those theaters have flat screens, I’ve noticed that the larger auditoriums have screens that are actually curved. Apparently, that curvature has something to do with making the surface a uniform distance from the viewer’s eyes.

Corsair has been a name in the computer accessory and peripheral market for a number of years. The company first made its reputation for creating some very speedy memory for enthusiast computers. Corsair also makes a number of USB devices such as flash drives and more.

Lilliputian Systems and Brookstone have announced that they have teamed up for the launch of a new mobile power system called the Nectar Mobile Power System. Neither of those companies specifically come out and say just how the Nectar system generates power.
