I have this huge thing for seemingly ordinary and everyday stuff you can interact with. Take, for example, the SCRW Stool. I think it’s pretty obvious from the name what these are and where its designer drew inspiration from.

It’s no secret that I have this insane and inane fear of insects. Cockroaches, grasshoppers, crickets, preying mantis, you name it, and I’ll scream when I see it. This is all to the annoyance of my dad, who just swats at it or sweeps it out of the way when he sees one. 

I first heard of Manolo Blahnik and Manhattans from the hit show Sex and the City. In fact, one of the reasons why I’m so into shoes (but not so much into alcohol) is because of that show, which I love but which my bank account hates.

True story: I was hard at work studying for my exams when I decided to take a quick breather to stretch my arms and my legs.
