Remember that time that Slave Leia was lounging out in the desert waiting for her next scene on the Sand Barge with Jabba the Hutt? While she looked pretty chill, I’m pretty sure she would have much rather had this R2-D2 chair to relax in.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That is, what someone might find beautiful or breathtaking might just look like junk to you, and vice versa. Some people find beauty in the smallest or grandest of things; in the neat and pristine or in the messy and chaotic.
I’m definitely a big fan of pixel art. Whether they’re found in paintings, furniture, housewares, or costumes, pixels are still pretty cool in my book. So when I saw that this fashion house is featuring an entire collection of stuff inspired by pixels, my inner geek got all hot and bothered.
Out of all of the enemies in the Mario games, I never really cared much for Chain Chomp. Not because I didn’t think he was as cool as Bob-omb or Piranha Plant, just because he was literally a real pain in the butt if he bit you.
There’s a time to squander away precious moments setting up your folding chair and umbrella and there’s a time to spend more of it in leisure by unfolding the chair and popping the umbrella open in several quick, easy motions.
The way I see it, nothing beats having furniture that is not only comfortable and functional, but also adds to the aesthetics and identity of your home or office.
You might remember those Binary Chairs by BRC, which looked extremely cool but pretty darned uncomfortable.
I was floored when I saw this Space Invader chair. It comes in a nice array of colors and looks pretty comfortable on top of looking fantastically retro. Sure, it’s not a Space Invaders love seat, but then again, having two of these colorful invaders in your pad would make it look even awesomer.
If you have seen the flick Inception, you are probably as confused as the rest of us over what the movie was about and if he was dreaming or in the real world. A designer that really liked the idea of the dream within a dream concept constructed this awesome chair and called it the Inception Chair.
When I was still a kid, I used to sit in that little shopping cart seat where the frozen stuff goes. I remember pretending I was riding on a roller coaster while my mom pushed the cart while she shopped.
Chilling in the yard while your gadgets are recharging sounds like a good way to spend the summer. That’s why I like these new chairs called SOFT Rockers. They have a 35-watt solar panel that charges a built-in battery which will juice up your gadgets.
This was probably your parents’ worst nightmare. Thanks to Back to the Future, we all love gigantic speakers. Well, this subwoofer is pretty huge and it’s been made into a chair. Do you think it will be loud enough for you?
I’m egg-static to introduce this egg-citing new egg cup that will revolutionize how you enjoy your eggs. (Okay, I will stop with the egg-streme overuse of the egg-words now. I just couldn’t resist.)
Anyway, remember those Ovalia Egg Chairs that were such a hit in the sixties?
If you’ve just moved into a bare, new apartment and find yourself strapped for cash, then the Land Peel could very well be your next best friend. You don’t have to spring for any furniture or desks or chairs or dining tables, for that matter.
