Every year when it comes time for Mother’s Day, I do my part to help all the geeks out there who might not know any better stay out of the dog house. Sure, you may have stopped giving your mom gifts other than a hug or a phone call on Mother’s Day a long time ago, but if your wife is pregnant or you have kids, save yourself the grief and get her a gift.

I’ve gotta hand it to the Japanese for this whimsical creation. It’s a little charm for your mobile phone that looks exactly like a tiny Nintendo DS Lite. You won’t be playing any games on this one though.

Remember that desktop self-destruct button I told you about a while back? Now you can carry a portable version, right there on your cell phone. This mini self-destruct switch is the latest in a long line of odd things that Japanese people are hanging from their mobile phones.
