A while back, we featured the first ever MP4 video player watch. Now you can pick up a wrist-worn player with a full 16:9 ratio widescreen. The wrist player features a 1.8-inch widescreen color display (isn’t that an oxymoron like “jumbo shrimp?”)

With all the recent buzz about how Blu-ray is leading HD DVD in the high definition “format war,” there’s a new wildcard that could shake things up. While Sony certainly has a leg up on the race with millions of PlayStation 3 consoles out there, one big road block to broad adoption of either high definition disc format is the high cost of standalone players.

I’ve seen phones with GPS and PDAs with GPS, but this is the first time I’ve seen a full Windows Mobile phone with built-in GPS navigation capabilities. The Dopod P800W is a full Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone with 802.11b/g wireless, Bluetooth and an integrated SiRF III GPS receiver.

Samsung has shown the sweet looking new X838 mobile phone for release in China. In addition to being a GSM phone, there’s an onboard MP3 player with an iPod-esque click wheel interface and 1GB of memory for storage of tunes.
