Apple today made a significant announcement regarding the estimated battery life of their upcoming iPhone. According to the company, the iPhone will offer the following battery life, depending on your use: Phone talk time: 8 hours Video playback: 7 hours Internet surfing: 6 hours Audio playback: 24 hours (wow!)

Cingular has now posted a page on their site where you can now sign up to be notified when and how to order your Apple iPhone. With all of the excitement about Steve Jobs’ new baby, I think there’s a good chance these things will be going for more than retail on eBay for the first few months.
