I’ve always wanted one of those fancy liquor cabinets in my house. I’m not talking about the type that look like an old globe either. I want a really cool one. Perhaps something really original, like one that looks like an AT-AT Imperial Walker.

Face it. We all would like a robotic bartender in our home, but without having to have some guy that looks like robo-Isaac from the Love Boat standing there waiting for our requests all day. Because that would be creepy.

Ever drink too much and feel like you’ve gone through a portal? Yeah, I think we’ve all been there. So your alcoholic beverages might as well look the part. This drink is made to look like the the two colored portals from the amazing game Portal 2.

I was really pumped about this story for a few minutes. I thought all those donations to research institutions had finally paid off and science had created a woman with four boobs. Sadly, those two protrusions on the hips area aren’t extra breasts.

Ripped from the pages of some neo-futuristic science fiction movie comes Chapek: the robot bartender… Chapek is just one of the ‘bots who will be featured as part of BarBot 2010, the third annual festival of Cocktail Robotics!

These Atari-themed shot glasses manage to combine two of my favorite pastimes addictions – one from my childhood (playing Battle Zone), and one from my adulthood (sipping shots of Pappy Van Winkel’s.) The set of 6 shot glasses includes graphics from six retro Atari arcade games: Asteroids, Centipede, Pong, Breakout, Missile Command and the aforementioned Battle Zone.

Next time somebody serves you a glass of mystery booze at a cocktail party, whip out the Rotgutonix pen, and find out what you’re really drinking. Just dip the Rotgutonix pen into a glass of alcohol (no mixers, please), and let it soak for 20 seconds.

Here’s an ingenius little invention for all you boozehounds out there. Imagine if you will, sitting at your neighborhood watering hole, when the bartender sees a little flashing light out of the corner of his eye and just knows it’s time to refill your cocktail.

Leave it to Etsy to turn up with another great video game inspired piece of handywork. Here we’ve got a set of rocks glasses with some excellent etched Space Invaders on ’em. They’re the perfect companion to those Pac-Man shot glasses you picked up a couple of weeks ago.

Nothing goes better with a game of 80’s classic arcade game Pac-Man than getting completely looped doing shots of your favorite booze. At least that’s what I think Namco was trying to say with this set of commemorative Pac-Man shot glasses.

A couple of months back, I showed you a rather silly beer-pouring robot that seemed to do nothing more than slow down the process of pouring you a brew. On the other hand, this ingenious robotic drink machine actually looks pretty cool.
