The last cosplay I featured was very faithful to its source material. It was also legitimately creepy. This Toothless quad suit on the other hand may not be the most polished costume out there, but it is one of the most adorable ones I’ve ever seen.
A couple of weeks ago we saw a sweet Amazing Spider-Man costume that looks like he stepped out of a videogame or movie set. I’m not sure if Ryan Turney’s Spidey costume is superior to that one, but it is at least equally astonishing.
A couple of years ago we saw a Final Fantasy cosplay that looked like an action figure come to life. This Darth Malgus cosplay on the other hand doesn’t just look like a life-size toy. Even though the costume is based on the Sith lord from the Star Wars: the Old Republic MMORPG, this dude looks like he stepped out of a Star Wars movie.
I saw the first couple of Nightmare on Elm Street movies, but never actually made it to Nightmare on Elm Street IV. Apparently, in that movie, Freddy Kreuger makes a serious fashion statement, wearing a sweater filled with the souls of the dead.
We’ve seen a lot of cool costumes over the years and many look amazing, but this Spider-Man costume may be the most movie accurate costume we’ve ever seen. It isn’t just the details, but the quality is simply amazing too.
I’m not a fan of Warhammer 40,000 myself, but this Blood Angels Space Marine costume looks so awesome, I want to check it out and see what I have been missing. Youtuber Pilerud scratch built this Warhammer 40K Space Marine Blood Angel Tactical Sergeant, 7th company, 9th squad, costume himself.
Some pet owners love to humanize their pets by dressing them up in human clothes and accessories. From dogs to cats to rodents to reptiles – whatever pet you’ve got, someone out there has probably made clothes for them.
This beast is the latest creation from Marksprojects. He made this amazingly kick-ass “Bolt” costume inspired by the Transformers movies. This thing is completely insane. The way it lights up, the way it moves – he looks like a serious movie mech inside of it.
I’ll be honest- I haven’t played Warhammer 40K myself, but I do know the soldiers in the game can be pretty bad-ass. Though no tiny game figurine or polygons on my computer screen could possibly compare to this:
Can’t afford the sweet Kuratas mech? Maybe you can pass on your dream of riding a robot to your kid. Japanese company Sakakibara Kikai recently released a video showing an updated version of its Kid’s Walker machine.
If you think that there’s no way baby masks would be anything but adorable, then think again.
That’s what I thought before I saw these masks by artist Landon Meier of Hyperflesh. And now that I’ve seen them, let me just say that they’re creepy as heck – even creepier than those scary clown masks that have haunted your nightmares ever since you were a kid.
We’re all about superheroes around here today, and why not end the night with something truly awesome? What you’re looking at here is a cool Iron Man helmet design, dressed up with TRON-style electroluminescent lighting.
Back in 2011, Ryan of Mad Art Lab wrote a post publicly condemning the Slave Leia costume. He had a couple of good reasons, but he realized that he had gone overboard, which is why last week he revised his stance.
Did you always want to be a knight back in medieval times? Well, it was probably pretty overrated, what with the plague, and constant risk of being skewered by your enemies on a daily basis. But now you can look like a medieval knight without any such challenges, and keep warm while doing it.
