It’s that time of year. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about. It’s time to set up the Christmas tree, string the lights, and hang the ornaments. But if you’re tired of all the jolly and festive holiday traditions, maybe you need to go with something a little darker for your decorations this year.

I’m a fan of board games and have been since I was a kid. I particularly like special editions of board games that bring a new dimension to the traditional game. This Cthulhu version of Yahtzee is a perfect example.

Walt Disney and H. P. Lovecraft have a lot in common: they were both very prolific creators of entertainment, they both crafted rich and weird worlds full of wonder, and they both are rumored to have been really, really racist pricks.

An ancient evil has awakened. And he is so adorable! This cute Cthulhu pony comes from Bigshot Toyworks who is developing a Cthulhu-themed My Little Pony named Maddie. She is one of the characters in their upcoming toy and animation series aptly called “Friendship is Maddness.”
