Check out this pedestrian bridge that China wants to build over the Dragon King Harbor River in Changsha, China. It’s all wavy and crazy and I don’t know about you, but this lazy American is getting winded just looking at it.

The iKurv is Speakal‘s new dock for iPods and iPhones. It definitely looks like it’s from the future, and it comes with two large speakers that are connected with a tube. There’s a glowing blue stripe along its edge, which gives it even a more futuristic look.

Look at this beautiful Quin lamp from California artist Bathsheba Grossman. Notice anything special about it, D & D fans? It’s Bathsheba’s exploration on the dodecahedron. It’s so much more than a twelve-sided die though. The intricate perforations and curvy undulations are not only are a shining example of the seamless blending of technology and art, but also serve to create quite a spectacular display of light.

No matter how cool it is to hang a super-skinny flat panel on your wall, virtually every LCD or Plasma television is looking like the same, nondescript rectangular box. So it’s good to finally see that somebody out there is thinking a little outside of that box.
