Adafruit’s been on a tear with its 3D printing projects lately. Their newest creation is a 3D printed replica of the helmet worn by Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. It has strips of programmable LEDs inside that are visible through the visor.
XD Threads remixed the album cover from Daft Punk’s latest album Random Access Memories to create this t-shirt design featuring Proto Man and his harder, better, faster and stronger descendant Mega Man.
If you can’t find – or afford – the official Super Mario Bros. Chuck Taylor shoes, here’s an equally sweet alternative courtesy of Etsy seller Felix Green aka InkheartKicks. Felix painted each pixel himself using acrylic paint, so not only are they beautiful, they’re waterproof as well.

It might have taken Harrison Krix of Volpin Props over 17 months to build this Daft Punk helmet, but it was clearly worth the wait.
I only wish I had a big brother like this guy. Not only does he have mad video game modding skills, but Pkmnjunky7 thought enough of his little brother to make him this amazing Daft Punk helmet that looks just like the one Thomas Bangalter has been known to wear on stage.
