Quickly, Guardian. There’s a sale at the Tower – they’re selling the vendors themselves. McFarlane Toys continues its line of Destiny toys with 7″ action figures of the Vanguards: Ikora Rey, Zavala and Cayde-6. The figures are based on the characters’ in-game assets from Destiny 2, where all three play a more pivotal role.

It’s colder than Frosty’s balls here in Colorado right now, and then you have to factor in the wind chill. It was so cold I went looking for a scarf lest my neck freeze off, because the colder it gets the longer it takes the dog to find just the right spot to crap on.

Minecraft is one of those games where it doesn’t matter what you do, because you can do anything in it. Want to build a working computer inside Minecraft? You can do it. How about a fancy castle?

Master LEGO MOCer ZaziNombies made a nearly life-size model of Telesto, one of the exotic weapons that you can get in Destiny‘s newest expansion, The Taken King. ZaziNombies didn’t need to farm for purple engrams, but like most MOCs he had to get creative with many of the rifle’s 650 LEGO pieces, such as using a purple windshield for the holoscope and whips for the cables.

Kirby Downey loves to 3D print fictional weapons as a hobby. His latest work is a case for an automatic electric pistol in the form of Destiny‘s beloved hand cannon Thorn. The case is based on Kirby’s life-size Thorn scale model, modified to fit the CYMA Glock 18C AEP.

I love it when geeks with lots of talent build replicas based on the insane weapons found in video games. Such is the case with a dude named Kirby Downey who built a replica of a gigantic machine gun from Destiny called the Thunderlord.

The creators of the incredibly popular Halo franchise have announced a new project they are working on called Destiny. The video game will introduce players to an epic science fiction universe, including a persistent online world filled with sweeping adventures.
