Since it’s already Friday, September 21st in Australia, the guys over at iFixit decided to take a trip down under, and already have their hands on a shiny new iPhone 5. As is their tradition, they’ve started the process of ripping it apart to show us what’s inside.

This just in: iFixit has torn down Apple’s new iPad and found lots of new things inside. Sounds like a stock headline, except Apple really is calling the new iPad “the new iPad” – or is it just “iPad?” 

The second a new gadget comes out, you can always rely on the iFixit guys to rip it apart the same day. They’re actually still putting the finishing touches on their iPad 2 teardown, but it’s complete enough now to share some of the pics and details found inside.

Nintendo’s current handheld has mutated over the years (as their handhelds are wont to do), from a hefty brick Phat model to the sleek lines of the latest iteration, the DSi. That latest system celebrated its US debut this week, and already the poor thing has been stripped, her guts revealed in a greedy technological orgy of discovery.
