If you haven’t already bought one of the million and one other iPhone/iPod docking stereos out there, you might want to check out this one. iHome’s iP4 stereo looks just like a classic boombox, but with an iOS dock in place of a cassette player.
We were just talking about some speakers made out of stone, so it’s just a coincidence that this iPhone/iPod dock made out of concrete popped up on my radar screen on the same day.
But unlike those limestone speakers, this sturdy dock is made from cast concrete.
XtremeMac rolled out a new iPhone and iPad dock today that actually looks really cool. The new dock is called the Luna Voyager II and it is an alarm clock dock that will charge your gadgets and wake you up.
The iKurv is Speakal‘s new dock for iPods and iPhones. It definitely looks like it’s from the future, and it comes with two large speakers that are connected with a tube. There’s a glowing blue stripe along its edge, which gives it even a more futuristic look.
It’s already hard enough trying to balance everything, even when you’ve got two arms. There’s a reason why people are warned against using their smartphones while driving, while crossing the street, or when doing other stuff that requires a person’s full attention.
So what’s a Lapdock? It’s a dock that will work with Motorola’s “Webtop”-enabled smarpthones. This is the mode that Motorola smartphones go into when they are connected to a TV or a laptop dock. The phone turns into a mini Linux laptop with a full desktop browser and more features.
iPod and iPhone docks are a dime a dozen, and it takes something special to get noticed in the plethora of different products. Check out this beautifully restored 1958 tabletop radio, that was modified to function as an iPod dock.
Do you like Angry Birds? Of course you do. And just when I thought we might be on the precipice of them birds and pigs finally jumping the shark, along comes the most perfect Angry Birds licensed product yet.
I get that you might need a keyboard to get things done with your tablet. It’s even better when that same Bluetooth keyboard doubles as a case and a stand, but iLuv’s new WorkStation series is a bit much for my taste.
Remember that minimal Bluetooth handset? Well it looks like Woodguy32 has decided to put his own spin on the whole iPhone handset thing, with this steampunk-inspired dock. Except for the handset, most of this thing is made out of oak wood and brass, which is good, and it’s also really nice and retro.
If you’ve switched to using your cell phone as your main phone, and you’re kind of getting tired of it, then you should try this Bluetooth add-on handset/dock created by French designer David Turpin. It’s called the Moshi Moshi 03.
If you have an iPhone or other iOS device, you have probably wanted on more than on occasion to shoot some of the content you have on that smartphone onto a much larger screen. You can put the content onto the TV in your home with an AV cable or a speaker dock, but it you want a really big image, a projector is what you need.
The Sony Circle Sound speaker is supposed to deliver 360-degree sound from a single speaker. The compact, spherical units were revealed at the IFA2011 fair and there are two models to choose from: the SRS-BTV25 and RDP-V20iP.
One of the things that really sucks about having to use a notebook like the MacBook as your only computer is that if you need to hook a bunch of peripherals to the notebook like printers, mice, or a desktop keyboard you have to unplug all that stuff each time you leave.
