I’ve always thought that snuggies looked silly. Despite how warm and cozy they look, I never found one that I would wear. Until now. This TARDIS Snuggie is awesome. It almost looks like a gown that some religious order of Gallifrey would wear.
If you’re a fan of the BBC science-fiction series Doctor Who you probably know that the series has been on the air for 50 years. That’s a long time for any television show to be on the air and I imagine much of the success comes from the premise in the series allowing the actor who plays the Doctor to be replaced on a whim.
I’ll admit that despite my love for science fiction and things geeky I’ve never been a fan of Doctor Who. I tried watching the show and I’ve never succeeded in making it through the first commercial break.
We’ve seen the Time Lords many times throughout countless Doctor Who episodes. However we know very little about their culture. What do they like to do for fun? What kind of music do they like? Do Time Lords play the ukulele?
Forget Jelly Babies. Forget fish fingers and custard. And please, let’s forget the Doctor pinning celery to his jacket. Toast. That’s the new Timelord’s favorite food. Hopefully the 12th Doctor will love toast. But if he doesn’t, here is a piece of plush toast dressed like the 11th Doctor.
I can’t imagine anything neater than having a Doctor Who-themed wedding where K-9 is the ring bearer. For her wedding, Kelsie Curtis’ dad made her a replica remote controlled K-9 bring the rings to the bride and groom.
Google maps has a special treat for Doctor Who fans. And I’m not talking about “Bad Wolf” showing up in various locations either. If you go to the Police Box on Earls Court Road in London on Google Maps, they’ll show you the inside of a TARDIS!
This subway map was created by Crispian Jago and it will take you on a journey through time and space as if you were traveling with the Doctor yourself. It’s all kinds of awesome with bits of amazing and fantastic thrown in too.
This Doctor Who series Blu-Ray set not only comes with all of the episodes from series 1 through 7, it also comes with a remote control that looks like the sonic screwdriver. Shut up and take my money.
Boy, you’d think you could slap a TARDIS on anything and it’d be a good idea. Well that theory has just been disproven thanks to the newly-released Doctor Who TARDIS Onesie.
Not only does the whole idea of adults wearing onesies make no sense to me, I’m at a complete loss as to why you’d want to wear one that’s even dorkier than a stock onesie.
Doctor Who fans, exterminate your thirst and transport your tastebuds to a cool and refreshing place with some ice cubes made in the shapes of Daleks and the TARDIS.
This silicone tray not only makes great ice cubes, but can be used to make candies in the shape of the good Doctor’s enemy number one or his faithful space and time machine.
Folks in the UK are determined that we all know that it is Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary. They are doing all kinds of crazy things. For instance, the ice cream shop Snugbury’s, does giant straw sculptures every year.
If you’re a Whovian and need some cool art for your front yard, do what Dulcet’s husband did and build some for yourself. You don’t have to be Davros to build a neat Dalek for your neighbors to admire.
