We’ve featured our share of cool video game costumes over the years, but cosplay for pets is a little less common. That doesn’t mean that it’s can’t be just as awesome as human cosplay, like this animal costume inspired by Ōkami.

Dogs are fun and all, but let’s face it. They are a lazy bunch of animals. Sure, they perform when they want treats, or when they want their belly rubbed, but if there’s nothing in it for them, they just lay there.

If your new puppy has trouble sleeping through the night, you’ll now have the option of getting Sleepy Bunny, the toy that claims to soothe him back to sleep, no matter what time of the night it is.

I recently got a new puppy (I named her Remy Martin, but of course I’m not going to let her grow up to be an alcoholic, no sirrie!) and I just adore my little furball. I rarely leave her at home alone, given that she’s still 8 weeks-old and all, but sometimes, there’s just no one left at home to care for the little tyke.

Do you like dogs? Well, I sure do, so when I saw this USB hub that looks like Man’s Best Friend, it put a smile on my face. While it’s not as cute and cuddly as, say, these guys, the USB HubDog is cuter than some other USB hubs.

People need oxygen in the aftermath of a fire to help flush the carbon dioxide from the smoke from their blood so they can breathe better. If you ever wondered what is done to help the pets caught in the same fire as their humans – apparently in the past, the answer was nothing.

Remember AIBO, Sony’s now discontinued robotic pet dog? Well Sony’s loss is Korea’s gain, now that they have a corner on the market for dancing robot dogs. GENIBO has been around in Korea for a few years now, but this is the first time I’ve seen the robodog in action, and it’s definitely got some impressive moves.

The guys over at Futility Closet dug up this awesome retro invention which I only wish they had actually made. Patented by Ann Margaret Zaleski way back in 1973, this dog-shaped vacuum was supposed to help your scaredy pup cope with the stress of you vacuuming up their hair when being groomed by hiding a Suck-o-Lux inside a doggie doppelganger.

iPhone users the world over have a hard time watching video and making FaceTime calls thanks to having to lay the iPhone flat on the table or desk. This problem has created a number of solutions on the market, none of which are as cute and gross at the same time as the Mobile Tail.

While I’ve never thought of AT-ATs or Imperial Walkers from Star Wars as particularly cute, the following video definitely presents them as a nice robotic pet to have around. I can already see the animated version coming to a HDTV near you!
