Told You He Wasn’T Far Behind: Darth Vader on a Race Car

Told You He Wasn’T Far Behind: Darth Vader on a Race Car
I knew it. After this ominous sighting, we now have concrete proof that the stories that our chubby, white-bearded forefather told us were just that: mere stories.  Know this: The Sith Lord is upon us. He’s not in a galaxy far, far away.

Hack: Control an R/C Car With Your iPhone
A couple of young Czech whippersnappers have figured out how to use the iPhone’s accelerometer to control remote controlled cars. They say, “Controlling is very easy with the iPhone 3G. It has five buttons, four of them you can use for traditional driving and when you press the last one, it unlocks the accelerometer control in the same way as in many driving games available on AppStore.” Check out the video here.

Xbox 360 Racing Wheel: New Model Coming?

Xbox 360 Racing Wheel: New Model Coming?
I was digging through the FCC archives this weekend and came across something interesting. It looks like the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel is getting some sort of an update. A recent filing by Microsoft reveals a new model number “WRW02” for the racing controller (the original version was model number “WRW01.”) The latest controller has it’s been listed with the FCC as “New Equipment,” which is a designation usually reserved for entirely new products, not just minor revisions to current ones.

Project Gotham Racing 4 to have Motorcycles?

Project Gotham Racing 4 to have Motorcycles?
The box art for the upcoming Xbox 360 racing game Project Gotham Racing 4 was revealed today. Unless my eyes are deceiving me, that’s a reflection of a motorcycle in the candy apple red finish of the car’s fender.
