Back in December when Amazon announced that it wanted to use drones to deliver packages to Prime users in only 30 minutes, many folks thought that sounded farfetched. Word has now surfaced from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that the government wants to trial its own delivery service in Dubai using drones.

Nope, this isn’t a UFO, it’s a functional modern art installation that was installed in the atrium of the Level Shoe District, a 96,000 sq. ft. footwear emporium, situated within the Dubai Mall. Of course, something this extravagant would only be in a shoe store in Dubai.

Star Wars were meant to happen a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, but what if they actually happened on Earth? French photographer Cédric Delsaux imagines the scene if Star Wars was set in Dubai of all places.

This Darth Vader cake is simply amazing, no two ways about it. It’s well-designed (just look at those fabric folds!) and perhaps even better executed. But regardless, there is something completely hilarious (to me) about choosing a filling for your Darth Vader.
