Gamers and fans of Duke Nukem have waited decades for the latest version of the game to launch. I knew early on that if the game wasn’t perfect after such hype and a massive wait things weren’t going to be pretty.

I have been waiting since 1997 for a new Duke Nukem game and I know that I am not the only one waiting. The last time we talked about the new Duke Nukem Forever game it had been delayed until June.

If you have been following the saga of the video game Duke Nukem Forever, it has spanned over a decade. Duke was a very popular character in the early games back in the 90’s, and then a long list of delays and promises unfulfilled relegated the game to the status of vaporware; and it pissed off a lot of fans along the way.

I think it’s safe to say that every year since 1997 there’s at least one customary rumor or update about Duke Nukem Forever. First it was out of anticipation but nowadays it’s probably become tradition. I guess that time of the year has arrived.
