With Easter coming up, it’s almost egg decorating time! A few years back, LEGO builder Jason Allemann aka JK Brickworks made his own version of Evil Mad Scientist’ Eggbot using the parts that are in the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kit 31313.

Even if you’ve never purchased any IKEA furniture, you know that all of it requires some assembly. Apparently, that also goes for their food items as well. This Easter, they’re even asking customers to assemble their own chocolate bunnies, with the VÅRKÄNSLA self-assembly milk chocolate bunny.

Any dad will tell you that games with young children can go on and on and on and on and on. They never end at times until the little one passes out from exhaustion or you can distract them with cookies.

If I am being honest, I can’t see a bunny without thinking: “There’s the beast!” “What, behind the rabbit?” “No, IT IS the rabbit!” Monty Python and the Holy Grail if you didn’t know. With Easter coming soon, you may be looking for some cool candy and gifts to give the geeks on your list.

You’ve done chocolate Easter eggs year in and year out and it’s starting to get boring. If you’re looking for ways to spice up (or rather, pork up) your Easter this year, then why don’t you weave and whip up a couple of these bacon Easter eggs?

Fans of Game of Thrones who love Daenerys Targaryen can put some really cool looking eggs in their Easter basket thanks to Jacquie LongLegs. She made her Easter eggs to look just like the dragon eggs in the HBO series.

These Marvel and DC Comics decorated superhero eggs are pretty impressive. You get all of your favorites in egg form. There’s the Hulk, Spider-Man (no Doctor Egg-topus though), Batman, Green Lantern and more. I would have loved to get these in my Easter basket as a kid.

Peeps are one of my guilty pleasures. There’s just something so delicious about sugar-coated marshmallow chicks and bunnies that I think they should make them year-round. So when I saw this Peep cake over on Instructables, I just about died (from both its awesomeness and a sugar coma.)

Dominika Turek decided that this Easter, it would be an Angry Easter thanks to some custom DIY-made Angry Birds Easter eggs! Easter is usually a time for faith and chocolate, but these guys make you want to get those piggies good.

Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories recently introduced their latest non-diabolical creation – the Eggbot. It’s an “open source art robot” that can draw on spherical or ellipsoidal surfaces. The Eggbot can draw on objects with diameters ranging from 1.25 to 4.25 inches, so you can forget about drawing on your head.

I was cruising around checking out the finalists for the Washington Post’s annual Easter Peeps Diorama competition this morning, and came across this bit of Apple/Peeps humor by Sarah Kohari and Erin Mastrangelo – it’s Peep Chromatic.
