I’m okay with using a microfiber cloth to clean the display on my gadgets and my computer. But if your nose is sensitive enough that it can smell the oil, dirt and whatever substance is left on your screen, watch out for Elecom’s new touchscreen cleaners.

Keyboard-cases are nothing new for iPads, but it takes a certain mix of elements to make a really good one. After tackling your smartphone typing needs, Elecom decided to create a keyboard-case for your tablet.

I kind of understand the need for a keyboard with today’s smartphones, but to be honest, you can type pretty quickly with your fingers on your touchscreen, once you get used to it. If you can’t and absolutely need a keyboard to get things done with your phone, then check out Elecom’s collapsible Bluetooth keyboard.

While touchscreens and trackpads might be what people yearn for, the reality is that most of us still have to use computer mice in some fashion. This is why Nendo designed this mouse that looks like a “D”-cell battery.

Elecom gives us another reason to keep our AA batteries around with this portable charger. It’s similar to the Sanyo Eneloop Mobile USB Booster, but while that one only takes two AA batteries to provide up to 90 minutes of additional power, the Elecom DE-A01D-1908 combos with four AA batteries to fully recharge an iPhone.

This is probably the closest your smartphone or tablet should ever get to water. This strikingly unusual stand itself was designed by Nendo for Elecom in Japan. The faucet stand will support all manner of smartphones and tablets.

This USB flash drive can be clipped anywhere, thanks to the clever way that it was designed.  Since USB drives are becoming smaller and smaller, it’s gets easier to lose them. This is one of the reasons why this design makes good sense.

One of Elecom’s latest wireless mice, the look of the Orime is supposed to be a reference to the ancient Japanese art of origami. Either that or first generation PlayStation games. Whatever the inspiration, I wonder if anyone bothered to test the usability of this device.

It’s not every day that you chance upon a mouse with a tail. I’m not talking about that huge, mangy thing running around in the darkest corners of your attic though. Rather, I’m talking about none other than that little clicker that you’ve got beside your keyboard or laptop.

These USB hubs are very similar to the ones we featured a couple of years ago – they’re also colorful, stackable, they also have four ports, and they’re also made by a company that is not LEGO.

It’s true that using a keyboard with your iPad works well, but in retrospect, doesn’t it just transform your tablet into a regular computer? Elecom doesn’t think so, and they’re about to release their keyboard and matching stand to fit your your iPad.

We have seen and talked about a bunch of watchbands for the iPod nano and all of them that I can think of have been made of plastic or silicone, and look modern and slick. If you are the emo sort of geek, that just won’t cut it.

Finally: A Ninja Turtle-friendly mouse. How could all of you mouse-manufacturers ignore this demographic? Is it because there are only 4 of them? Well if you gave them usable mice earlier then they would have found dates online, don’t you think?

While we now know that a robot can cook an omelet, your PC will just have to do with a mouse that LOOKS like an egg instead of frying one. Elecom’s Egg Mouse (model M-EGUR) features a bold ovoid design, in a variety of colors that would make even the Easter Bunny proud.
