Mowing the lawn is one of the more odious tasks homeowners have to deal with, especially during the hot summer months. But iRobot, the maker of the popular Roomba robot vacuum cleaner, wants to do away with that chore with a new line of robot lawnmowers.

Verizon was busted not too long ago for fleecing their customers for extra data charges going back for years. The charges were apparently tacked onto the bills of users who didn’t have data plans or went over their meager allotment of data.

Generally, the geeks over at the FCC that work on testing all the gadgets we tend to love and use constantly are just trying to be sure that the gear doesn’t cause interference of some sort that will make planes drop out of the skies and cars honk uncontrollably.

Looks like the Ceramic White color PlayStation 3 (model CECHH01) might be headed to U.S. shores afterall. Originally revealed back in October for release in Asia, updated documents and pictures surfaced on the us FCC website which could indicate that it’s on its way to North America now.

By now those in the know are aware that Microsoft is just about set to release several new Zune media players. Thanks to some drawings over at the FCC website, I can confirm that there are definitely new models in the works.

I was digging through the FCC archives this weekend and came across something interesting. It looks like the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel is getting some sort of an update. A recent filing by Microsoft reveals a new model number “WRW02” for the racing controller (the original version was model number “WRW01.”)

I was digging through the latest FCC approvals earlier today when I happened across this, the latest universal remote control from Philips. According to the user manual, the new remote, called the TSU9400, features a huge 640×480 full color TFT display.

Crunchgear has broken the news that the initial Microsoft Zune media player will be manufactured by Toshiba, not Microsoft. The device has been registered with the FCC as the Toshiba 1089. It’s been confirmed that the player features a 30GB hard drive, a 3″ LCD, USB 2.0 and 802.11 b/g connectivity.
