For the 4th of July, somebody’s uncle had the genius idea to fly a firework powered model plane in the middle of a crowded residential area. As you can imagine, the flight did not last long and ended with a cool explosion.

Have you ever seen someone do something and just wondered what in the actual f**k they were thinking? This is certainly one of those cases. A pair of idiots went into a Phoenix, Arizona Wal-Mart with possible plans to set their Snapchats ablaze with followers and comments by setting fire to a display of fireworks.

So how does a crazy YouTuber who likes to blow stuff up celebrate his three-millionth subscriber? YouTuber Colin Furze went all Imperial and created a Death Star filled with 5,000 fireworks. This should be fun. This tops all of his other inventions as this Death Star explodes, without the help of an X-Wing firing on its exhaust port, in a spectacular 20 seconds.

A company called Star-ALE hopes to create the most awesome aerial display ever seen in the skies over Tokyo as part of the opening ceremony of the 2020 Olympic games. Fireworks just won’t do for a celebration of such epic proportions.

Mario Kart is a classic game, but it doesn’t have to be confined to your console. You can play it in real life like this group of friends. Watch them play battle mode in real life as they run around shooting Roman candles and trying to pop each other’s balloons.

It’s July 4th weekend – a time for cookouts and fireworks all across the country. And where there are fireworks, there’s danger. So the government has taken it upon themselves to give us a fireworks safety demonstration video.

Fireworks are awesome. I used to blow up anything and everything I could using Black Cats back in the day. Spiders feared me, as did my brother. The greatest fireworks related day of my life came when a firefighter pulled up in front of my house when I was trying to blow up a plastic model car and handed me a handful of confiscated cherry bombs.

Fireworks projectors are nothing new, although I must admit I didn’t know they existed until today. But while the projector that made its rounds on the Internet a couple of years ago was meant to be enjoyed indoors while stationary, this projector only measures 10″ x 6″x 3.5″ and only weighs 1lb.

As a kid, any time we could buy fireworks was a great time of year. I once lobbied to move to Florida where you could buy fireworks year round, but my parents never agreed. I used to tie bottle rockets to just about anything that would sit still long enough.
