I’m a picky eater, and I know this about myself. I have rules for food; I’m a food segregationist if you will. My foods don’t touch and I don’t mix salty and sweet. I also don’t eat stuff off the bone because it’s really gross to see all the cartilage, tendons, and bone.
I am a huge fan of hamburgers. I also recently moved to Colorado from Texas, and Colorado isn’t a Whataburger state. I’m sad about that, but I can now walk from Walmart to the car without having heat stroke so there’s that.
Good ole Kirby is coming to Japan, but you’ll be doing all the inhaling this time. That’s because Kirby will be coming to a chain of cafes, and he’s bringing along some tasty looking eats. These desserts look particularly appealing:
I’m not sure if that is a tomato flavored cupcake or not though.
You can buy all kinds of graters, but most of them require you to grate your cheese directly over your meal like some barbarian. The Eva Solo Grating Bucket is a more elegant solution. It collects the shreds inside as you grate, allowing you to dispense them appropriately later.
I sort of wish someone here in the US would make the sort of weird hamburgers that they get in Japan on a regular basis. J.S. Burger Café in Japan has turned its burger grilling skills to making Ghostbusters themed hamburgers and they look oddly appetizing.
One of the worst things about cooking burgers or steak on the grill is having to start the charcoal. For me it always seemed like the charcoal started up well enough, and then as soon as the fluid burned off, the coals were cold as ice and the meat never cooked.
It’s getting harder and harder to make S’mores on camping trips these days. Back in my day when all the hangers were metal, all you needed was a bit of hand strength to bend said hanger, and a campfire.
I like to camp, but in Texas we have only two seasons- hot and August. In August, ole Beelzebub won’t come to Texas. Considering it was roughly 197-degrees yesterday, camping is out, but if you live somewhere that you can actually play outdoors without bursting into flames or stroking out, you can now eat pizza while you camp.
I am annoyed at this season of Game of Thrones. Other than Jon Snow coming back, literally no questions have been answered for me that I had after last season. With the season finale coming soon, you might need some eats for your geek friends who are coming over to watch with you.
One of YouTube’s star makers NightHawkInLight made a gun that fires cheese balls using an electric leaf blower, several PVC pipes and a large cheese ball container.
It’s a fairly simple toy, but building it isn’t as straightforward as you might think.
Sushi lovers and vegans have a lot in common in so far as both groups want to be damn sure that you know what they like to eat. If the word “fish” is uttered, sushi fans will tell you how they love sashimi.
McDonalds in China is getting some themed food to celebrate the launch of The Angry Birds Movie. One of those burgers has a green bun. I’ve had a green burger from McDonalds before, only in my case the green was mold none of the burger makers seemed to notice ALL OVER THE BUN before they put it in the bag.
We love seeing weird foods around here, even if we are too squeamish to eat most of them. If you are a fan of weird food and Pokémon, we have a book that you will want to put on your Christmas list this year.
Vinnie’s Pizzeria in Brooklyn is doing their part to help save the environment and they are doing it in the tastiest way possible. Their new pizza delivery box is made completely out of pizza. Now you can eat the box too.
