You might have seen the Katamari Damacy wedding cake that we featured before, but that’s a tiny dot compared to this Katamari Damacy wedding. The accessories were well done, from the dorky but cute headgear to the bundle of flowers and of course the Katamari cake.

The Unfinished Clock, made by Yve Thelermont and David Hupton, is made to be placed on the edge of a shelf or table. The clock’s bottom part is missing but the hands will still go all the way.

What was the last thing you bought at a vending machine? A can of soda? A magazine? A bike? A gold nugget? Live bait? Woman’s Day’s Brynn Mannino made a list of some of the weirdest vending machines we have today.

The Choken-Bako dog bank features a hyperactive dog for a teller. Just place your money on its bowl and it will “eat” it. Actually there’s a slot on the bowl that’s connected to the coin box; the dog’s mouth just pushes the money into the slot.

Compared to all the other Japanese gadgets we’ve seen, the Sushi Train Restaurant and Game is only mildly Japanese – i.e. not so weird. It’s a literal take on the popular conveyor belt sushi restaurants, which are also known as – wait for it – sushi trains.

By the power of (a) gray(?) skull… you can call your friends! Brando’s Thriller Skull Phone has flashing blue LEDs to complete it’s pseudo-scary theme. The handset is the middle third of the skull’s face, but it looks like you’ll have no problem picking it up because of the grooves that the eye sockets make.

You probably know by now that young Spartans proved their worth by being beaten up senseless and killing – or being killed by – comically large wolves. We modern men are not as barbaric; we’re content with having our babies ride cyclops-head strollers.

Now let me start by saying this. When I say “best”, I really mean “weirdest”, but once you check out Enviro-Bear 2010 for the iPhone and iPod Touch, you’ll understand why I say that. Actually, according to Destructoid’s Anthony Burch’s review of the PC version, Enviro-Bear is the “best, and only bear-driving-a-car-simulator”, which I have to say puts a slightly finer point on it than I did.

Squid London’s umbrella features a wrap-around white London skyline drawing that becomes multi-colored when the umbrella gets wet. I’m really tempted to put this on Cute or Stupid?, because you won’t see the drawing anyway if you’re under the umbrella.

Benjamin Franklin – widely acknowledged as “that chubby dude  in the 100-dollar bill” – once said that there is nothing certain in life except death and crying babies. Larry King may have already disproved half of Franklin’s  quote, but until scientists isolate and exterminate the Crying Baby gene in our DNA, Franklin will remain the  Supreme Captain Obvious of the Universe.*

How do you make a disgusting alien cute? Easy: just replace his slimy skin with wool. Oh and give him a “squezzly bunnybear.” Flickr pro/proud mom/Jedi Grand Needle Felter Kit Lane imagined that as a child, Zorba’s offspring wasn’t really an evil Hutt.

I apologize to anyone who has seen Revenge of the Fallen and liked it, but personally I think I got ripped off on that one. My sentiments – and then some – have been represented elsewhere, so I’ll just leave it at that.

These office chairs are crafted from old military aircraft ejector seats – and they are awesome. The guys over at Motoart took this seat from an authentic Vietnam-era F-4 fighter jet, and turned it into a cushy, padded desk chair.

I don’t know about you but this is new to me: apparently the English and the Australians are bitter cricket rivals, so much so that they have a tournament, popularly known as The Ashes series, which only features the two teams.

The quest to keep people indoors and separated from each other continues with the mydeskfriend robot toy penguin. The web-connected mydeskfriend will be able to connect to your Facebook account and read your messages and your feeds, in a robotic voice I assume.
