The Game of Thrones opening credits are just begging to have someone build a real-world replica. Just imagine a wooden version of the keep at Winterfell as a model with moving pieces that you could buy.

These days there are so many editions of products – limited, special, special limited, etc. Even retailers have their own special editions. We couldn’t possibly collect them all. Well, we could, but it would be a full time job and we’d go broke.

Entertainer Phileas Flash made this gloomy balloon sculpture of Ned Stark sitting on the Iron Throne. I think it’s based on this poster from the first season of Game of Thrones. A series so heartwrenching it even makes balloon sculptures a sad sight.

This is what it would look like if dragons actually existed and we uncovered their bones. This 40 foot dragon skull is amazing and scary. I would hate to run into this thing on the beach.

No matter which house you are a part of in Westeros – Lannister, Stark, Greyjoy, Targaryen… They all eventually have to poop. Forget fighting for the Iron Throne. It’s not even a comfortable seat. This Throne of Rolls on the other hand is worth battling over.

Ever wondered how much money in video games and science fiction movies would be worth in our world? Well, thanks to the Intergalactic Exchange Bureau, you can now convert between a number of fictitious currencies. Developed as a promotional stunt by Money in Advance, the Intergalactic Exchange Bureau can convert currencies from Star Wars, Star Trek, Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas, Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire and a couple of others.

In an alternate universe, the characters from Game of Thrones are all alive and kicking. Imagine if they took a break from all that scheming and fighting and decided to live normal lives like ours. I don’t think they’ll have much difficulty finding mates of their own, but if they ever decided to try online dating, then Team Pwnicorn has got them covered.

LEGO is a family-friendly brand, so I can say with a high degree of certainty that they’ll never release an official line of Game of Thrones minifigs. But that didn’t stop one enterprising LEGO fan from creating a line of custom Game of Thrones figures.

Game of Thrones is awesome enough as it is. But it’s about to get awesomer thanks to LEGO hobbyists and builders who also happen to be fans of the show. Now, thanks to fans and hobbyists, some of the show’s memorable moments have been immortalized forever and recreated in LEGO.

The third season of HBO’s Game of Thrones is still more than a month away. Meanwhile you can pass the time by playing with this 1:6 scale replica of the infamous Iron Throne. Put your cat on it, build a LEGO Red Keep around it or imagine impaling Joffrey Baratheon on its bladed backrest.
