Remember when you were a kid and you had this secret diary that your little brother would always try to sneak a peek at? Well, probably only the girls can relate, and while I had no brother, I did have a sister who constantly snooped around my stuff.

The Girl Scouts is an organization designed to help children learn all sorts of skills with the rewards being patches or badges. The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles has announced that they are working on introducing a new patch that scouts can earn for creating video games.

Chicks might dig the rippling muscles and bald head of Kratos from the God of War games, but for those of us who prefer our eye candy to be of the female variety, here’s something you guys will like.

Mike Hoye has recently been playing The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker with his 3-year-old daughter Maya. He read the narration on screen to her, but because he wants Maya to be the hero, he changed all the nouns and pronouns that refer to Link to female ones.

The field of robotics has come a long way from the early days. We have built robots that can do any number of things, but what we are still lacking are robots that can truly interact and work alongside humans on a more physical level.

Last week, we saw how girls can show off their gamer sides by putting on some gamer necklaces by Deadly Pretty Design. As a girl who’s really into video games herself, I can say that I definitely can’t wait to get my hands on one of those necklaces.

The Silent Hill video game series always gave me the creeps. There aren’t too many games that made me jump out of my seat at times, but those games always had me on edge. Sure there was Pyramid Head, but they also had those really creepy Bubble Head Nurses starting in Silent Hill 2.

I hate the misuse of the word “literally” but in this case I will tell you that you can literally wear the word “geek” on your sleeve. And you can do it with computer keyboard letters, too.
