Artist Mirjana Kika Milosevic is known for her amazing body painting illusions. For her latest transformation, she managed to make herself look like one of the gremlins from the classic 1980s movie of the same name.

Did you hear that collectibles company NECA bought the company that makes Chia Pets? Me either. Apparently, it happened back in February. Well, now we know the reason for that purchase. It’s because they want to apply their mad sculpting skills to unleash a bunch of geek-themed Chia Pets on us.

If you ever saw Gremlins, you know that Mogwai can be adorable. They can also be a bit mischievous. Take for example, this LEGO Gizmo who’s hiding away in his wooden box waiting to pop up and charm you with his big saucer eyes.

Gremlins was one of those awesome ’80s movies that was both funny and a bit scary. I think every ’80s kid wanted their own Mogwai, even if you risked being killed by a green, slimy gremlin at some point.

I don’t know anyone who grew up in the ’80s and didn’t want a Mogwai for a pet. Gizmo was, and still is the most adorable thing with those giant ears. There are a few caveats though: no bright lights, and definitely don’t feed him after midnight.

Gremlins was one of my all-time favorite childhood movies. It featured just the right proportion of slapstick humor, gore and action for a teenage boy. In tribute to this classic popcorn flick, one talented artist has created a fully-functional puppet version of Stripe, one of the eponymous gremlins.

Why would anyone ever own a Mogwai? You are just asking for trouble. Have you not seen the movies? Those cute little furballs turn into Gremlins. They are like tribbles, but deadly. Don’t ever own a Mogwai people!

You probably weren’t aware that a little fifteenth century Roman Catholic church called Chapelle De Bethleem has a gremlin problem. The church is hidden in the forest about 20km away from Nantes France. Probably to keep from infesting others with the beasts.

The Mogwai are pretty darn cute. That’s how they get you. They lure you in with their cuteness and then you end up giving them water and feeding them after midnight. Then all hell breaks lose when they turn into horrible little monsters.

Have you ever wanted a Mogwai? You know, those creatures from Gremlins who remain cute and cuddly as long as you don’t expose them to sunlight, feed them after midnight or get them wet? While this new toy from Japan doesn’t really look like a Mogwai, it does sing like one.
