Building LEGO replicas is one thing, but building working replicas of guns in LEGO is something entirely different. Check out this reproduction of the NERF Maverick REV-6 blaster by AstonishingStudios. This is some awesome LEGO engineering.
We’re gonna need a real American hero because judging by this assault rifle, Cobra Commander means business. This is his weapon of choice. Yes, this is a fully-functional Heckler & Koch XM8 assault rifle. This weapon was modded by Hollywood props engineer Tom Bostic of TommyBuilt Tactical.
At last year’s New York Toy Fair, Jakks Pacific unveiled the toilet-paper shooting Skid Shot. It’s like toy blasters that shoot foam ammo, except this one shoots wadded-up spitballs using toilet paper. Good times. Mothers everywhere spent extra on toilet paper and had to clean it up from their walls.
The Toilet Paper Blaster Skid Shot. That’s quite a product name. And given that name, just looking at this gun you might think that this is a weapon designed for friends to fire a shot and wipe your ass.
A few weeks ago at SDCC, NERF announced its Rival Overwatch Reaper Edition Blaster, based on the Reaper’s Wight Hellfire shotgun. Now another Overwatch NERF weapon has surfaced: the D.Va Light Gun. The details remain true to the game weapon, except of course when it comes to capacity and the projectiles it shoots.
It’s always fun to see people mod NERF guns into badass killing machines. Well, not killing machines exactly, with that foam ammo, but still, they can be pretty awesome. NERF’s Rival blasters fire small foam balls at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour.
It figures that it would be a former NASA engineer who had a hand in building the world’s largest Super Soaker water gun. It is so giant that this Super Soaker managed to break a Guinness World Record for being the largest on Earth.
And you thought that LEGO bricks were painful to step on. Imagine getting shot with them. There’s a gun for that. Joerg Sprave’s latest creation is a custom elastic-powered gun that can turn LEGO bricks into nasty projectiles.
The awesome looking NERF Rival Nemesis MXVII-10K isn’t available to the NERF-loving public yet, but there is already a way to crank up the firepower. This mod takes the the 100 round, 70 MPH firepower, and cranks it up to 11.
The other day, I talked a bit about a new NERF gun that shoot balls at up to 70mph. I admit there is something poetic about being able to shoot an opponent in the balls with a ball, but I still prefer darts.
NERF is showing off an awesome new gun to fling foamy death at your friends. This time out it’s not darts that you shoot though. This thing shoots little foam balls at up to 102 feet per second, or about 70 mph.
Nicolas Huchet has a sweet bionic arm. A team of hackers called Hackerloop developed a bionic NERF Gun for Nicolas, who was left with a myoelectric prosthetic hand after an accident. Presumably they started off by saying, “Gentlemen, we can rebuild him.”
Let’s form a band. Cool, I call shotgun! When shotguns and guitars combine, you get a musical weapon that will make you a rock God. You can also take care of those pesky fans that rush the stage and make an example of them.
If you have ever wanted a grappling hook gun like Batman uses, you’ll want to check out this video in which engineer James Hobson of Hacksmith Industries built a real working version.
The finished gun is actually nice and compact.
