Remote Play – a feature that allows wireless access to the PS3 via a PSP or PS Vita – has yet to take off and is only compatible with a handful of PS3 games. We’ve already seen one man make a custom device that does just that with any PS3 game.
This new calculator mod allows you to play Doom, not in monochrome, but in glorious color. There’s no sound in the game yet though, as the mod is still in the development stage. It runs on the Texas Instruments TI-nspire CX calculator with OS 3.1 and Ndless 3 running the Doom game.
The PS Vita recently launched in Japan with a bunch of games, but none of those games were old Sega classics like Sonic The Hedgehog. A developer has corrected Sony’s oversight and managed to get a Sega Genesis emulator running on the handheld, using the PlayStation Vita’s own PSP emulator.

Everybody is playing Skyrim, but not the way that YouTube user KinectFAAST is playing. He has unveiled a new Skyrim hack that allows players to use Microsoft’s Kinect motion controller with the game. All you have to do is watch the video to see how great this hack is.
Not happy with the lineup of games available for the Kindle Fire? Here’s some good news if you want some N64 action on your tablet. A developer has created an emulator that will allow you to play classic Nintendo 64 games on Amazon’s Kindle Fire.
Some might consider it cheating to attach an NES controller to an Etch-A-Sketch, but not this guy. Those little vertical and horizontal knobs just weren’t cutting it so he got to work and created the NES-S-Sketch, which is like having the worst NES paint program ever that only uses the D-pad to go up and down and side to side.
When you think about it, having a solar charger is a good idea, especially if you find yourself outdoors frequently, and your gadgets often run out of juice. If you’d rather not just go with an off-the-shelf charger, you can always mod an IKEA Sunnan solar lamp to become your iPad charger.
