We’ve seen a Master Chief motorcycle helmet before, but that was made by a fan and is not road legal. But start saving Halo fans, because next year NECA will release an official and DOT-approved Master Chief motorcycle helmet.
Before today’s press conference, Microsoft Xbox chief Phil Spencer promised “we are dedicating our entire briefing to games” and unlike last year’s attempt to win our living rooms as an entertainment hub, all but one minute of today’s 90 minute press conference was dedicated to gaming.
You may or may not be familiar with the art form called quilling. Quilling is created using strips of paper rolled up or curved to create images. An artist named Alia Syed has taken the art of quilling to a very geeky next level.
We have seen some incredibly cool props come from the replicating geeks over at Volpin Props. One of my favorites was the Terrible Shotgun from Fallout 3. The latest build to surface is definitely of the quality we expect prop maker Harrison Krix, and this time it comes from the Halo universe.
You may or may not know that this past weekend, people of the LGBT community took to the streets in major cities across the U.S. to show their pride and support Gay Rights. This particular parade took place just days after the U.S.

I’ve been so busy recently that I haven’t yet finished campaign mode on Halo 4, but I’m gradually making my way through all of the missions. One weapon that I have yet to stumble onto (other than in Infinity multiplayer mode) this time is the classic energy sword.
The cool and detailed armor of characters from the Halo universe means it’s quite hard to emulate them in cosplay. Unless you happen to be a pale, short-haired 6’7″ 287 lb. male, in which case you can just come as yourself and say you’re John-117.
I don’t think it will come as a surprise to anyone out there that Halo 4 is already a major success. Microsoft has announced that the launch of the game is the biggest and most successful launch in the franchise’s history.
